this game was so amazing !!! i saw a video on tiktok telling me it had been deleted off of itch.io so i did a little research and i'm guessing all that happened was the name was changed from confession to past hope ? both titles are cool anyway, im just glad i was able to play it instead of watching the only playthrough on youtube by a streamer idk ... both mc and hoshinos characters are super interesting and i would love to just sit down and analyse them one day

i really had hope that the true ending could've possibly been another good one, but it turned out it was just a continuation of the "good" ending if i remember correctly. the true ending showed us how twisted the mc actually is. i know you said in the description that the mc is not a good person before i even played the game but i didnt expect THAT. i was convinced that it was just hoshino who was dependant on mc but the true ending opened my eyes and made me realise that mc would go to any lengths in order to keep hoshino around, they want hoshino to only ever have them therefore making them codependant. mc genuinely is incurable (even the title of said ending conveys that) and is dragging hoshino down with them, breaking him, basically ruining his life, when he tries to leave he is just forced to come back as mc is passing on the abuse they received, like an endless cycle. both of them are very tragic and i couldnt help but choose all the nicer options towards hoshino first as i felt terribly bad for him even if it was all just a lie. i really hope social media doesnt water their dynamic down to toxic or doomed because i believe they are much more than that. THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS!

大概一两年前的时候看了这个游戏的实况，给我留下了很好的印象，最近找游戏玩的时候又看到了这个游戏就来二刷一下，非常扭曲的感情，好配的两个人，看得好爽！BE1很有恐怖游戏的感觉，爽！说多了剧透反正每个结局都好爽。。。

!!! this story is so....... it made me feel so many emotions. i played this vn originally to take my mind off of things, but i ended up playing for more than an hour.

im really both.... horrified and perplexed and also extremely at awe at how you write MC. im scared of MC, honestly. when you said mc wasn't a good person I genuinely thought of grey morality at most, but i really wasn't expecting a fully fleshed out bully for (at least, in MC's perspective) a helpless naive puppy.  I felt so bad honestly, I felt genuine moral questioning over my fictional actions and thoughts, as if I was truly thinking such evil thoughts.  I hated MC a lot, and that's a compliment for your writing. 

Naturally I chose the 'kindest' options because of how bad I felt for Hoshino. In real life, I'd probably  be actually friends with a guy like him. The more I played, the more I realized how fucked up and pitiful both sides are, it's just extremely... confusing for my emotions to process all of this. Both have suffered with so much abuse and yet handled it in a way that I'd say is like the two sides of the same coin. Both are lucid with their actions, and they both don't have any means to become better.  They've fully accepted the results of the abuse they have received (or done) and they welcome it with open arms to the point that I question; 

If abuse is in neither's system, who are they really? Can they even be a person out of the cycle of abuse anymore? It's hard to imagine. 

When they're apart, all hell breaks loose. When they're together, they might as well as spiral and kill whatever remains of each other, whether metaphorically or literally.

As I'm writing this, I have yet to do the True ending (I was stupid and didn't track my progress, hehe). But I can feel the excitement, dread, and fear all muddling into adrenaline. I can't wait to see more of your works.

EDIT: I finished playing. True ending and everything........ ah im so depressed.

I love it. I hope this game will be translted on Russian, cause i want it to be popular. Its really what i was born to :3

i cried when he said "godbye MC i love u" in the true ending, it felt too real! i wont forget him,i love him! thanks for the great game.

SENHOR QUE JOGO BOM! Era exatamente oque eu estava procurando em um jogo. Levei mais ou menos duas horas para zerar, a única coisa q não me agradou tanto foi o som do jogo q não funcionou no fone, não sei se é porque eu usei o Joiplay ou se culpa do meu celular.
